Sometimes the obvious detriment to our weight loss isn't so clear when the habits we have are apart of our lifestyle. You may think you're doing everything you can to see weight loss, but there may be a few habits you're putting your blinders on to.
Drinking your sugar calories:
You may call yourself a grazer. Meaning you don't sit down for meals, rather you eat a little bit all throughout your day. This can cause you to both over eat and under eat. Both of which can harm your weight loss progress. Set specific Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and snack times and have meals that are portioned out instead of eating little bits throughout your day.
Eating out. Drive thru, sit down, or food trucks at lunch.
Even if you order a salad, even if you order quinoa and chicken. Reasons you should stop eating out:
Night time snacks are often a desire rather than a need. Sitting down to relax and watch survivor at the end of the night might be the perfect experience if you had a bowl of popcorn or ice cream. This habit night after night will add extra calories to your day that you won't burn off. Try picking one night a week where you treat yourself to a show and a healthy snack.
Going hungry won't help you reach your weight loss goals. It won't help your energy metabolism. It won't help your muscle growth. It won't help your workout performance. It won't help your mood. Stop it!
