"See those top photos? That was me unhappy with life. Too ashamed to show my face. Every day I didn't recognize myself in the mirror and it tore me apart. Every day was a constant battle for me. I had low energy and no motivation to do anything about. A depression if you will. I would literally cry every time I had to pick out something to wear. I couldn't even keep up with my kids.
Then one day my boyfriend introduced me to Beachbody. He had the PiYo DVDs for years and told me to check it out. I started the program multiple times and quit within a week.
One day I woke up and looked in the mirror and told myself it was the day. The day I needed to change.
Not only for myself, but for my family.
Ever since that day I have dedicated my life to working out and getting in shape.
Once I began to see the results I was addicted. Addicted to the post workout high and addicted to bettering myself. Once I began eating right and working out within days I felt my body singing the hallelujah chorus.
It's now not difficult to go to the store and say is this healthy? Can I eat this? And stress out about what I can have. I can walk into the store and know exactly where to go and what to get! I have to say this journey of mine was no easy task. It's hard at the beginning. You have to truly commit yourself to a lifestyle change.
And I did it!! I am about half way to where I want to be. I am still currently working my butt off. I could NOT have made it this far without the support of my boyfriend and I want to give a special shout out to him. Along with him there have been other people who have helped me as well, and are currently helping. Thank you to my Beachbody coach. And recently thank you Kodie!
I am currently down 27 pounds thanks to their support and my hard work!
If you are stuck in the "I don't have time" phase in your life, or coming up with some kind of excuse not to workout you are truly missing out on something beautiful. I understand that life is busy! But if you keep coming up with excuses you will forever be in a constant battle with yourself.
Let today be the start of something new."
