Hungry at 8 pm or later? We all know it's not great to eat right before bed.
Get cravings for sweets? Here are my top secrets:
1: Dark Chocolate Hershey's: NOT a whole bar. 2-3 squares
2: Rice cakes: May not be filling but the chocolate and caramel curb my cravings!
3: Banana: If you're hungry, eat a banana. Wont hurt!
4: Shakes: I drink my shakeology nutrition shake at nights OR my recovery shake. The recover helps in muscle growth and recovery while you're sleeping. Drinking recover allows your body to slowly metabolize the proteins, which is beneficial for your muscles. Let me know if you want more info on either of this. I'm in love with them!
5: Drink a glass of water: Best thing you can do if you're hungry at night. It's common for thirst/dehydration pains to be mistaken for hunger pains. If you down a glass of water then head to bed you may no be hungry or have cravings the rest of the night.
Orange: high in sugar which will give you energy right before bed, learned this the hard way!
Apples: Surprisingly, apples are a carb. You want to avoid carbs after 4 pm because your body wont utilize the energy carbs give you and you'll end up storing them.
Ice cream: Just don't do it..
