We were all put on this earth for a purpose. We all have a passion and a reason to get out of bed in the morning; some of us haven’t found it yet, or some of us are just not living it. Have you thought about your passion recently? Have you pursued your passion in the last week or are you just working your 9-5 hoping some day you can do what you truly love?
I understand, you have to make a living. I get it, you have to provide for your family. Okay, I know, you’d be broke if you didn’t have the job you hate. But when did you make the decision you were going to live the one life you were given sitting behind a desk or working for someone you hate?
When did you decide, “Hey, I know! I’m going to work 9-5, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, 2,087 hours per year doing something I hate just so I can make money and survive?”
When did you make the decision to submit yourself to a job that doesn’t make you happy, stresses you out, takes away your free time, or doesn’t allow you to live out your purpose in life?
Have you woken up for 7 consecutive days with excitement, motivation and joy to head to work? A better question would be, have you ever woken up like that?
Are you alive, or are you living?
I know, I’m only 23 years old, I don’t have a family to support, a ton of bills to pay and I just finished school. But I’ve worked since the day I turned 16. I’ve supported myself through school. I’ve had enough experience to understand what it’s like to work a job that doesn’t relect my purpose in life.
I’ve had jobs that have held me back. That have turned me into a cranky, unhappy person just striving to pay bills.
When you find your passion. When you live out your purpose. Work won’t feel like work. You wont be “just getting by” you’ll actually be living. Once you start living out your purpose and working a job you’re actually passionate about, money won’t be an issue. It’s likely that pursing your purpose will actually give you more financial freedom. You see, doing what you love wont feel like work and others will notice that. If you’re passionate about your job, more people will be inclined to invest in you. People will flock to you and your positive energy. People will want a piece of what you have.
Think about you’re favorite pass time. What is your all time favorite hobby?
Is it fishing? Crafting, or simply playing video games?
This activity is something you may crave doing on your days off or wish you had more time to dedicate to it.
What if you could make your favorite hobby your career?
Now imagine your passion. It can be ANYTHING and it’s certainly different for all of us.
Maybe your passion is caring for your kids. Being an amazing mother and wife could be your purpose.
Is it helping the poor? Improving others quality of life?
Is your passion traveling and exploring the world?
Maybe you’ve never considered what your passion is… or maybe you’ve never considered how you could make your passion your job.
Reality check, you limit your own abilities. Your mind is limiting what you’re capable of pursing. Think outside the box and create a life by your design.

The amazing thing about the world today is that we can do anything we set our minds to. We can be successful in our passion, we just have to work for it.
For me, fitness and health is my passion. Inspiring and motiving other people to live healthier and happier lives is my passion. Online fitness coaching has given me the ability to use my passion for health and fitness, my real life experience and personal fitness and nutrition practices as an example and inspiration to others. Yes, I’m terrified I’m not going to be successful or be able to pay rent. But, I also know that working a job that will give me a sinking feeling when I wake up in the morning, or feel like a waste of time, is not an option for me. I’m not going to live my life just to make money. I’m going to support myself from my passion because that’s a decision I’ve made.
