A letter to the healthy hope((lost))

Dear Healthy Hope((lost)),
 
Let’s take the negative connotation that comes with the word hopeless and replace it with hope ((lost)) because there is still HOPE we just have to find it again.
 
I know you feel uncomfortable in your own body and I understand you have tried so many different methods of creating a healthier lifestyle for yourself.  I imagine your feeling of defeat is overwhelming. I understand why you may have let go and given up.
You may feel low energy and sluggish all throughout your day. You’re out of breath when simply walking upstairs. You can’t keep up with the kids and all you want to do is resign to the couch.
 
Nothing in your closet fits right and you feel uncomfortable in anything you try on.  You HATE going shopping because your clothing size is the largest it’s ever been and you don’t feel like you look good in any of it anyway.
 
Maybe you’re a momma and your health went down hill after your pregnancy. You just couldn’t bounce back from the weight you had gained and now it’s been years. You’re eating the quick on the go snacks your kids eat and your busy driving them from school to extra curricular activities. You can hardly even find time to shower let alone get in a good workout.
 
Maybe you’re in your 20’s and you use to be super fit when you did sports in high school but then college happened. You participate in all the fun social events and have to eat from the sorority or dorm options.

 
When it comes to nutrition you feel like you’ve tried all the fad diets (( Whole 30, Paleo, low carb, high protein, 8 meals per day, detoxing etc. )) and you’ve seen 5-10 pounds fall off right away but then it seems like the ticker on the scale literally get’s stuck.. You eat 900-1200 calories per day and your job or kids keep you really active.
 
You make it to the gym and ride the elliptical for 20-30 minutes per day and then go lift some weights. Or Maybe you find it hard to make it to the gym because of your busy work, school, family schedule.
 
At the end of the day, you’re just not happy with your body.
 
I want to share with you, whoever you are, whatever your story is, you are not alone in this. In fact, most people feel the way you feel. Like you’re stuck in your own body. Like there is no hope left to getting this shell you’re mind and soul live in back to something you’re comfortable living in.
 
You must have a lot of questions. A lot of doubts.
 
When you share with me that you feel this way, my heart starts racing. It feels as though it sinks to my toes. I never want anyone to feel this stuck and uncomfortable in their own body.
When I feel such an emotional tie to the healthy hope((lost)) I am reminded that this is my passion. I’m reminded that you telling me this gives me so much excitement and confidence because I know I have a solution for you.
 
I know what you’re thinking, but I’ve tried everything.. why would what you have to offer work for me?
 
Because you may have tried everything, but you haven’t had me.
I haven’t been there to help you with your nutrition. I haven’t been there to support you and motivate you through the times when you’re struggling. I haven’t been there to cheer you on and make sure to keep you accountable.
 
As a coach I am irreplaceable.
You can purchase meal plans, exercises and equipment online without me. Just go to Beachbody.com or Amazon, or whatever other itworks detox you’re hoping for.
 
But if you want to try what you never had before, put your trust in me. I will care for you, understand what you’re going through, and pour my heart into helping you get your life back.
 
Let’s get you, healthy hope ((lost)), back to where you belong. Let’s find your hope again with a nutrition plan that is suitable to YOUR BODY and YOUR GOALS.
